If so it's running lean and might be something is loose and allowing an air leak or there is a problem with the carburetor. WebHi there! Today I cleaned out my carb on the Troy Bilt snowblower (storm 2665) because it wouldn’t start, cleaned out everything and put it back together. Started right up, then there is a second problem, surging unless on half choke! If I put the choke fully off while it is running at any speed the engine will run very rough and surge.
